Josh Strief Exercises “Professional Patience” in Win Before Iowa Court of Appeals
Josh Strief prevailed in an appeal before the Iowa Court of Appeals, convincing the Court to affirm dismissal of a personal injury lawsuit against his client. Mr. Strief first obtained summary judgment dismissal of the plaintiff’s lawsuit due to the plaintiff’s failure to properly serve suit papers. The plaintiff appealed the dismissal, which was routed to the Iowa Court of Appeals. On appeal, the Iowa Court of Appeals agreed service was not proper while also noting Mr. Strief had exercised “professional patience” in pursuing dismissal via summary judgment.
